Daycare<\/h2>

Fido\u2019s is open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6pm for your daycare needs. Extended hours change for Holiday periods. Dogs get a good day of  indoor and outdoor play with toys, playground equipment and of course plenty of friends!<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

5 hours of play for $34.50

Your dog deserves the best. Fido\u2019s is a fully certified canine behavior training facility. We offer a variety of classes and packages to help your dog develop and grow in an ever changing world.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

LEVEL 1 TRAINING<\/h5>

Learn the foundations of dog training with a combination of lure reward and positive enforcement shaping. Your learning includes: basic commands, Sit, Down, Stand. Collar grab game, rock solid recalls. Foundations for walking and mat work. Puppy problems such as biting, chewing, crate training, potty training. Adult problems such as jumping, barking. Tricks and manners. All while having fun with your dog!\n

FIDOS PUPPY PAWS IMPRINTING<\/h5>

Puppy imprinting combines all the essential knowledge of puppy training classes with the fun of daycare socialization. You get daycare and training all in one for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months.
Each session starts with a group puppy training class where you and your puppy will learn things like sit, down, recall and more!
Throughout the week, up to 5 days a week, your puppy joins the daycare group to learn how to dog, while continuing to get training during their day. At the next group class you and your puppy will continue to grow your knowledge to be reinforced in daycare during the week. Call for availability.<\/p><\/div>

WALKING 101<\/h5>

5 week walking class to help your dog navigate outside distractions and on leash meetings. Call to inquire about upcoming classes<\/p><\/div>

RALLY-O AND SCENT WORK<\/h5>

New Clients<\/h2>

Becoming a Fido\u2019s dog is simple and easy! To ensure every guest is safe, happy and well cared for, we need to get to know you and your playful friend. <\/p>

1.      \n<\/span>Download our New Client form to your computer\nand fill it out prior to coming in with your dog.<\/o><\/p>\n\n

2.      \n<\/span>Contact your vet office for your dog\u2019s\nvaccination records. Your pup can start daycare as young as 8 weeks, so we require all our guests to have Rabies, DHPP (Distemper,\nHepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvo) once they are old enough to receive each vaccine. 

All guests must be\nspayed or neutered by the age of 7 months. You can also have your vet send\nvaccinations to fidosplayground@gmail.com<\/o><\/p>\n\n

3. Email, call or message us on Facebook to set up an appointment for your dog to come in for their trial day! Appointments are done between 7:30am-9am Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. We require your dog to stay a minimum of 2 hours on their asssessment trial day.

About Us<\/h2>

Fido\u2019s was born out of a love for animals and a need in the community for an excellent animal care provider. From one woman\u2019s desire to see a positive environment for dogs, Fido\u2019s has grown into one of the top choice\u2019s for training and daycare in Stratford.\n

Fido\u2019s playground opened May 7, 2007 and has been in its current home on Monteith since 2009. An open concept 2500 sq ft playroom provides freedom and fun for your dog to roam; while allowing you to see into the space where your puppy is during the day. The fully enclosed 1000 sq ft outdoor space also allows ample space for your family member to run around.\n

Fido\u2019s playground is owned and operated by Cheryl Mayberry-Smith a certified canine training behaviorist and Canadian pet dog trainer. She continues to serve her customers with the best in canine behavior training and psychology by attending seminars, classes and conferences from the likes of Dr. Ian Dunbar, Patricia McConnell Ph.D and many more outstanding positive dog trainers. \n

Fido\u2019s playground is a place for dogs to come and make friends while learning proper socialization in a safe and secure environment. Dogs of all shapes and sizes play together like they\u2019ve been living together in the same house for years. And if you need a little extra help with your dog, whether it\u2019s basic training or behavioral issues, Fido\u2019s provides a wide variety of options to suit.\n<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

We have been taking our little 15lb dog to Fido\u2019s for 3.5 years now \u2013 their puppy training & daycare was recommended to us and we love that the manners he learned in training are also reinforced in daycare.
